ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

We are pleased to announce that abstract submission for the 8^th Asian Society for Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care Congress (ASNACC 2025), which will be held on 28^th February – 2^nd March 2025 at InterContinental Bangkok Hotel, Thailand, can now be submitted on our online system. To submit an abstract, please sign up or if you are already signed up, please log in with your credentials. Do not hesitate to use the password recovery function if needed.

• Abstract Submission Opens: 1^st July 2024
• Deadline of Abstract Submission: 31^st October 2024
• Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 15^th December 2024
• Presenting author registration deadline: 31^st December 2024

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CATEGORIES: Abstract category descriptions are included. Please review these descriptions before submitting your abstract to ensure you are submitting your work to the proper category.

PRESENTATION TYPE:

• Poster Presentation

Remarks:

• The case report can be submitted for presentation.
• Submitted abstracts will be reviewed, and eligible abstracts will be upgraded to Oral Presentation.
• No awards will be given to poster presentation.
• More information regarding the logistics of the presentations will be advised upon acceptance.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

• TITLE: maximum 20 words

The abstract title should be brief and in capital letters, give a clear indication of the exact nature of the research, and refer to the actual content of the abstract. Do not use abbreviations in the title.

• ABSTRACT for research study: maximum 300 words. Please organize the abstract body as follows:

1. 1. Background
   2. Study Design & Methods
   3. Results
   4. Conclusions
   5. Keywords: 4-7

• ABSTRACT for case report: maximum 300 words. Please organize the abstract body as follows:

1. 1. Background: what does this case report add?
   2. Case summary: chief complaint, diagnosis, intervention, outcome
   3. Conclusions: what is the main “take-away” lesson from this case?
   4. Keywords: 4-7 including “case report” as one of the keywords

REMARKS

• DO NOT use abbreviations that have not been specified first.
• DO NOT include statements such as “the results will be discussed” or “data will be presented and discussed” within your conclusion, as these are NOT
• All presenters are expected to cover their own travel, lodging, and Congress registration fees.
• Presentation of the same abstract at both the ASNACC and the Royal College of Thai Anesthesiologists (RCAT) meetings is allowed.
• It is the responsibility of the presenting author to confirm that an abstract that has been accepted for presentation or presented at a venue other than the 8^th ASNACC Congress was not published elsewhere.
• For all accepted abstracts, each author will be required to complete a disclosure of conflicts of interest form before the abstract presentation. Failure to complete this disclosure by all authors will result in the inability to upload the electronic poster for presentation.
